R & D Facilities
All of our research and development
is in Lod, Israel and utilizes a full electrochemical lab. As
every good scientist knows, having the right tools is half the battle
in providing accurate and reliable results. By combining the right equipment
with the right staff, Medis is making a difference in the future of
mobile energy.
We maintain close long-term relationships with industry-leading
companies, including both customers and suppliers, in order to develop
tailored products to meet specific customer requirements. We enter into
joint development projects with our customers. Our close relationships
with both customers and suppliers give us an insight into industry trends
and the future needs of the industry which enables us to focus and prioritize
our investment in future research and development.
Production Facilities
Lod,
Israel (low volume assembly and key materials production)
Our Lod facility supports all our low volume assembly
from our semi-automated production line as well as high volume production
of key materials and components used in the construction of our 24-7
Power Pack.
Celestica,
Ireland (high volume production)
Medis' first high volume assembly line for the 24-7
Power Pack is installed in Celestica’s Galway Facility and
operational by the first half of 2008. It has a capacity of 1.5
million units per month. Along with the new production line, will be packaging
and fuel blending lines capable of supporting 3 million units per month.
As demand increases, future lines will be added.
